CONSIDER WELDING:

Welding is the process of melting metals or thermoplastics and adding a filler material to fill gaps and produce a secure coalescence between the original materials. Welding naturally produces a stronger bond than soldering or brazing because the original materials are melted and interact in a molten form to create a juncture that is sometimes as strong or stronger than the surrounding materials. Welding rods, wire, or sticks of differing materials act as fillers and/or catalysts in forming the bond.

Rather than throwing away an expensive metal bed frame or a top quality barbeque, a weld repair can make it better than new. Often the repair is stronger than the original. I reinforce many of the objects I repair, making them more resistant to breaking than when they were new.

Welding repairs on bed frames are a common request. Brackets that hold the headboard break, or side rails bend and break. We fix the problem with hidden welds and reinforce the area to prevent repeated breakage.
